Record a session
Here's how a practice session works:
- Pick the passage you'll read from the list above (the cards).
- Choose a Kind: practice for an ordinary session, or baseline for the reference recording your progress is compared against.
- Press Record, wait for the mic indicator, then read the passage aloud at your normal conversational pace.
- Press Stop when you're done — the session saves automatically and appears in History.
Read at your normal rate — do not slow down or speed up. Thistle measures the tiny pauses in your voice to show patterns over time.
Ready. Pick a passage, then press Record and read it aloud at your normal rate.

Why this method
Thistle is a practice tool built on a published speech-fluency method that emphasizes feedback on the rhythm and timing of speech.
